Genomic Health is situated on the land of the Whadjuk Noongar people and we acknowledge the traditional owners of this beautiful country.

We are currently in the third season of Djilba know as the First Spring which runs August to September.

September we start to have cold clear days and the temperature is slowly creeping up. We begin to see abundant flowering of our native plants - the yellow explosion of the Acacias slowly marching north starting in the Southwest.

The warm weather sees the birth of new life and as new parents protect their nest. The swooping Koolbardi (magpie), Djidi Djidi (willy wag tails) and the ‘Chuck-a -luck’ (wattlebirds) are out to get you on your morning walk! Abundant foods at the moment are land based animals including the Yongar (kangaroo), the Waitj (emu) and Koomal (possum).
