Dr Suzanna Lindsey-Temple - FRACP MBBS MBA PhD BSc (Hons)

Dr. Lindsey-Temple is a highly regarded medical researcher with over 25 years of experience in genetics and genomics. They completed their PhD at UNSW and conducted postdoctoral work at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, NSW. Later, they became a Research Assistant Professor at UWA, leading their own research group specialising in immunogenetics. Currently, they work as a Clinical Geneticist in Sydney, hold adjunct senior lecturer positions at UNSW and UWA, and co-founded Gene S Pty Ltd, a WA-based biotechnology company developing and commercialising innovative pharmacogenomic medical devices

With over 25 years as a Genetic Counsellor, Katrina has helped thousands of people and families with their genetic health questions and now in private practice she is able to bring timely access to good quality informed genetic information.

The future of precision medicine and how it is shaping the future of Primary Health Care.
Identifying genetics in everyday practice so that GPs and Specialists can manage patients more effectively in accordance with guidelines or refer with confidence to ensure their patients are receiving good quality, timely genetic information with case study examples.
Discussion on the technical aspects of delivering Precision Medicine testing to patients with consideration given to gene selection, panel selection and correct interpretation of results.
Follow up learning reflections and CPD certificate will be sent after the event.
